More about the Canine Support and Relief Fund
After the tragic events of September 11, 2001, the AKC REUNITE mission expanded to support animals in need. In early 2002, the AKC Canine Support and Relief Fund was created as a permanent charitable fund to proactively support the needs of volunteer Canine Search and Rescue organizations plus provide our nation’s pets with life saving disaster relief resources during hurricanes, tornados, floods and wildfires.
Beyond the grants from the Canine Support and Relief Fund, AKC REUNITE also provides extensive volunteer coordination and direction of corporate sponsorships to provide animals in need with food and supplies.
As pet recovery experts for 16 years, AKC REUNITE is there to help. They are a not-for-profit organization and protecting pets is all they do.
As a non-profit organization, AKC REUNITE takes pride in giving back to the companion animal community. All donations to the AKC REUNITE Operating Fund helps further its efforts to support the companion animal community.
